Here’s a sneak peek into their “D-day”, which unfolded like magic and eventually became a memorable affair for the couple and their families.

The Beginning of an Arranged Affair

As two individuals who were brought up in a contemporary, Gen Z environment, the idea of embracing an arranged marriage seemed foreign and unfamiliar to Kashish and Aseem. But who can resist destiny’s plan? Soon it played its part, and both met in a traditional family setting during the COVID-19 pandemic. They had an instant sense of belonging and quickly deciphered the message the universe gave them. Kashish, who lost her brother to the deadly outbreak, saw glimpses of him in Aseem, which brought a sense of familiarity and offered her solace amid profound grief.

Just like almost every couple, the early days of courtship felt a bit awkward for both of them. They spent their time discovering each other’s nature, which turned out to be the polar opposite. However, their energies collided, and soon love blossomed between the two, turning them into a couple who perfectly balanced each other’s flaws and strengths. Today, their love story undoubtedly stands as a testament to the beauty of the traditional arranged marriage setup, which sparks a connection that goes beyond cultural norms and societal expectations.

The Tranquil Roka Ceremony

The road to lifelong commitment began with a grand roka ceremony in Bangalore, hosted by Radisson Individuals. With picturesque mountains and lush greenery as a backdrop, the venue appeared like a paradise. Kicking off the festivities with a breezy sundowner event, the couple arrived in pristine white outfits. The elegant decor for the event incorporated exquisite green floral arrangements, skillfully crafted by the bride’s talented sister-in-law, along with the resort’s infinity pool, perfectly complementing the neutral tones.

Boho Chic Mehendi & Welcome Dinner

The mehendi cum welcome dinner at the Marriott Hotel was envisioned as a cozy family get-together amidst a bohemian setting with an exceptional palette juxtaposing bold and bright colors to eventually create a visually striking atmosphere. The bride-to-be was all decked up in a multicoloured floral embroidered lehenga she picked up from Varun Bahl Couture that perfectly complemented her groom’s rich yet minimal maroon kurta pyjama. The stage was set ablaze by a stunning performance by popular Delhi-based singer Money Sondh, managed by Hitss Entertainment.

Tequila-Style Pub Party

A neon-themed pub party for the bachelors ignited the night with vibrant colours, lively music, and non-stop fun that lasted until dawn. Kashish dazzled at the extravaganza in a glimmering showstopper gown in a celestial galaxy blue hue. Subtle smokey eye makeup and minimal accessories completed her high-octane ensemble. Aseem, on the other hand, danced the night away in classic black chinos topped by a casual blue blazer. The DJ spun hip-hop and EDM at the after-party, which catered well to the couple’s joyful mood.

Tropical Pool Party

The pool party held by the beach was a tropical paradise with gorgeous pastels as a central hue. The essence of the theme was captured by oversized floral decorations paired with a sleek entrance arch in addition to a huge couple’s initials resting near the pool surrounded by colourful blooms. Creatively crafted signature drinks, including the bride’s Kashi-bomb and coconuts engraved with “KA”, added a personalized touch to the celebration.

The bride and groom’s outfits add to the tropical fun. Kashish exuded a soothing resort vibe in a playful fluid drape dress in silk satin crafted by Shivan and Narresh. Her elegance was perfectly matched by Aseem’s sleek blue and white ensemble by Antaragni.

Both families got overwhelmed, as everyone heard a joyful brouhaha with laughs and chilled beer glasses clinking to the rhythm of the sizzling music. Danseuses dressed up in sexy costumes kept the magic alive and made each spectacle an exceptional moment. The fun moments spent on the beach made the tropical affair a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the guests.

Enchanting Engagement & Starry Sangeet Night

The mesmerizing cocktail engagement ceremony delved everyone into the wedding festivities. The couple set the dance floor on fire after exchanging rings and left everyone in awe. The indoor venue showcased a breathtaking setup featuring a starry “Sparkle on Darling!” backdrop, transparent baubles, candles, and dim lighting, creating a romantic ambience that resonated perfectly with the theme.

On the sangeet night, Kashish sparkled like a diamond in an embellished Agean blue gown from the label ‘Jade by Monica and Karishma’. She teamed the gorgeous number with a messy bun, blingy jewellery, and nude makeup. Aseem too looked dapper in Kunal Rawal’s dark blue jacket and pant set.

Harmonious Haldi Ceremony

The extravagant haldi ceremony commenced in a gardenia-themed setup featuring a lush green backdrop punctuated with colourful blooms that perfectly stood in contrast with the abundance of marigolds and sunflowers. Dressed in an embroidered white sharara by Sukriti and Aakriti, Kashish stood in tune with her groom, who chose to wear a golden yellow kurta dhoti set from fashion connoisseur Tarun Tahiliani. The personalized touch of Phoolon Ki Holi and water fun drenched everyone in Haldi madness.

The D-Day

The wedding day unfolded in Thailand with grace amidst the ethereal beauty of the sun-kissed beach. The decor was all about the elegance of neutral tones, with serene white and pink flowers working in synergy and perfectly balancing verdant greenery to infuse the surroundings with tranquility. A stunning display of the couple’s initials, K+A, graced the stage for the grand varmala ceremony atop the shimmering pool.

Kashish looked like a dreamy vision as she entered under a breathtaking phoolon ki chaadar and left everyone in awe. She exuded sheer elegance as she slipped into her own designer lehenga, an exquisite champagne gold ensemble that brought her vision to reality. The gorgeous number, which was a product of the bride’s unwavering commitment to uniqueness, showcased delicate Pichwai paintings of Radha-Krishna and Krishna Raasleela that were brought to life with the most intricate kasab, mukaish, dori, and resham work as well as pearl and stone embellishments. A low-cut blouse adorned with zardozi jaal accompanied the 18-Kali masterpiece. Furthermore, a digitally printed, flowy satin organza dupatta completed her bridal ensemble. Kashish finished her beach wedding look with statement jewels, a mogra bun, a three-meter tulle veil, and nude makeup.

Aseem’s off-white silk sherwani, deftly crafted by Shantnu & Nikhil, undoubtedly remained unparalleled and captured the essence of a modern-day groom. His outfit kept traditional nuances intact while boasting contemporary elements like faux leather cutwork adorning the collar. He complemented this sleek ensemble with embroidered shoes and a stole.

After kanyadaan and saat phere, a grand cake-cutting ceremony lifted the spirits one more time before the newlyweds bid adieu to their guests.

Reception – The Grand Finale

To complete their wedding festivities, the duo subsequently hosted a formal dinner for a charming sundowner reception at Bangalore’s Leela Palace. The whimsical decor, inspired by Arabic culture, featured elegant arrangements to eventually fill the venue with sleek sophistication. Kashish became the much-coveted Sabyasachi bride for this event as she draped herself in seven yards of elegance. Her silver-grey Banarasi saree with alluring zari work shimmered under the spotlight and looked regal with emerald jewellery. Also, her groom exhibited sartorial elegance in a dashing blue western suit meticulously crafted by Italian luxury fashion house Ermenogildo Zegna.
