Meet Kanika & Saurav
They say that there are no accidental meetings between souls, Kanika & Saurav’s beautiful destination wedding is a gorgeous take on this tale. They were not keen on getting married when they heard about each other from their families. However, they recognized the efforts taken by their families and decided to connect on social media. After two years of knowing each other, connecting with each other’s friends, and going on a few memorable trips, they finally decided to tie the knot in Punjabi style at Fairmont Ajman Dubai.
Pastel Floral Themed Roka cum Engagement
To start with the wedding rituals, getting roka-fied is necessary. So, prior to the grand Fairmont Ajman wedding, the families of Saurav & Kanika arranged a pastel floral themed roka cum engagement function at Roseate House Aerocity, Delhi. This beautiful wedding venue in Delhi had been lit up with delicate lighting and plenty of flowers. To complement the theme, our Punjabi bride wore a baby pink colored gown with floral embroidery and ruffled bottom designed by Barbie Kalra from New Delhi. Her flawless makeup look had been created by Swati Verma, a famous MUA from Delhi. Contrasting Pastel pink embroidery on grey sherwani was the detailed statement of Saurav’s engagement outfit.
Sagan: Glam Alert!
Before heading to Dubai for Fairmont Ajman Wedding, both the families enjoyed glittery and glamorous Sagan. Big LEDs and sharp lights in the open space of Orana Resorts and Hotels, New Delhi made this venue seem no lesser than a nightclub. While Kanika was seen in a shimmery grey-black fishtail gown designed by Swati Narula, Saurav sported a classy black three-piece suit to beat the event’s glam! From the setup to outfits, everything seemed royal at this Fairmont Ajman Wedding.
Classy Pre-wedding Shoot at Fairmont Ajman Dubai
Marking the start to this eventful Fairmont Ajman Wedding, Kanika and Saurav had a classy and scenic pre-wedding shoot by the beachside of the Fairmont Ajman Hotel. With refreshing air, serene ambiance, and amazing company of each other as well as Kanika’s bridesmaids, everyone had a great time on the first evening. Kanika looked stunning in a glamorous red dress which she coupled with a beautiful red rose tiara and Saurav complimented her in a stylish black suit.
Count the hues at this Mehendi Ceremony
The indoor-outdoor Mehendi ceremony of this Indian wedding in Dubai was super vibrant. While for the indoor decor of this Arabic themed function, the wedding planners, TYBROS Luxury Wedding Concepts picked multihued drapes and sheesha decor, they enhanced the area around the pool with beautiful drapes in subtle hues of pink, ivories, and orange. Overall, this loud and lit Punjabi function set the Fairmont Ajman Hotel on a completely different vibe.
Kanika wore a bright yellow lehenga with gota patti latkan, a pink blouse, and contrasting orange dupatta designed by Disha by Tanushree and Akshay, a famous couture brand store based in Delhi. Also, how can one possibly deem a Punjabi wedding in Dubai complete without the bride rocking the traditional look with patti jewelry? Further, the fantastic Henna applied by Shafna mehndi artist from Dubai enhanced the beauty of our bride on this wonderful day. Saurav complimented Kanika by wearing a pastel pink kurta with contrasting pastel green floral Nehru jacket.
Dholifying Haldi before Fairmont Ajman Wedding
Can you even imagine a Punjabi wedding in Ajman without Dhol? The yellow dressed groom’s guests and pink dressed bride’s guests dancing on the dhol beats was the best moment to look at this Haldi ceremony. This event featured a vibrant and colorful decor with a beautiful deep-sea facing view. Baby pink floral jewelry with yellow saree designed by Kaisha design studio glorified Kanika more.
It’s a Modern Cocktail
This Fairmont Ajman wedding made sure that there has to be a modern-themed cocktail before the couple hits the wedding. The Fairmont Ajman hall seemed to be a perfect place for the couple to groove on some amazing beats with their friends and family. From crystal hangings to assorted flower decor, startling lights, lanterns, and LED screens, this upbeat Punjabi wedding had it all.
Kanika’s love for off-shoulder designs is quite obvious observation now. For this event too, she wore a gown with off shoulder neck designed by Bride and Beautiful, a well-known bridal shop in Delhi. Saurav, on the other hand, rocked a designer black suit with a floral blazer in this cocktail party.
Rose Gold-Themed Fairmont Ajman Wedding
The wedding planners decked the beachside with hues of rose gold for this beautiful Fairmont Ajman outdoor wedding. They kept the decor subtle to meet the heart swooning view of the sea. This Punjabi Couple color-coordinated their outfits to match the beautiful nature-inspired decor. The groom wore a bespoke sherwani from Diwan Saheb and our bride was beautifully draped in a sequin pastel pink lehenga from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
In this fairytale destination beach wedding in Dubai, our bride looked marvelous in fresh and glowy pink bridal makeup with smokey eyes and subtle blush, a stunning look created by Nadia Meghani from Dubai. The beautiful beachside mandap decorated with pleasing pastel colors and the fresh breeze from the turquoise colored sea at Fairmont Ajman Dubai provided the perfect ambiance for tying the knot.

Wedding Venue: Hotel Fairmont Ajman was a beautiful beach facing property with all the apt designed venues for all the traditions and functions being held and enjoyed to the fullest. Saurav and I always dreamt of having a wedding at the beach and I think Ajman was the place meant for us. Moreover, having a destination wedding in Dubai was like going on a vacation and getting married!
Wedding Make-Up Artists: I chose Nadia, Swati Verma, and Leena Bhushan because they are the best. I didn’t want to take any risk as I wanted to look flawless on my wedding functions. Therefore, I booked the most famous make-up artists for Delhi and Dubai functions. I was more than satisfied with all my looks.
